Default More income for real estate agents

I am an active field agent in the real estate business for the last five years. I want to expand my client base to more areas, which means I wish to cater to areas other than my hometown. How can I have access to client bases in surrounding areas?

Commercial real agents usually make the most money but they can spend years working on a sale or lease before they get any money.

Default Realtor's

I do not think that Realtor’s experience will play a lot while selling your house. Not for 5% of the price as commission though. I sold my first house with a Realtor and realized how much I lost for a small benefit.
I just sold my current property in 2 weeks without a Realtor (by using bayut.com).

Hello
A real estate agent or a realtor deals in land and houses. Real estate agents generally have an area in which they operate. Their job is to know who in their area is looking to sell their house and who wishes to buy a house in that area. By getting the prospective buyer to buy and the seller to put up his property for sale, he will receive a reasonable percentage of commission.

But very often, the real estate agent job description goes beyond this basic match-making exercise. The real estate agent's work can extend to convincing the parties regarding a property and negotiating the amount between them. The real estate agent may also be given the job to draw up the legal documents of sale and purchase respectively along with the legal agreement to transfer the ownership.

Real estate agents even carry out valuations for land and buildings put up for sale. Some real estate agents have a consultancy arm which carries out a detailed survey on the holdings of the landowner and helps him fix the price of the land for sale. The real estate agent will then negotiate the price with the prospective buyer and then carry out the final sale.

Thus we can see that the job of a real estate agent encompasses various activities, from valuation of land, fixing the price, scouting for buyers, carrying out negotiations to drawing up the all the documents related to the sale of the land.
